Grade 4

Grade 4 is the start of the Primary School journey at Clarendon. Grade 4 girls form the “little sisters” of our school, and as such, our value of CARING sees our older girls ensure their little Clarendon sisters are well taken care of. Our phenomenal group of Grade 4 teachers spend much time integrating girls into the Primary School way of life, while helping them grow and mature into compassionate young girls. Our Grade 4 girls are exposed to a fantastic curriculum, including Singapore Mathematics, and Ipad technology is used to enhance learning in almost every subject.

Some of the highlights of the Grade 4 year include:

  • An evening of NIGHT SCHOOL evokes much excitement
  • Interactions with our brothers at Selborne Primary
  • Beach excursions
  • Farm excursions
  • School outings for educational (and fun) purposes
  • A wonderfully informative Orientation programme
  • Grade 4 and 7 swap – planning goals, dreaming big
  • A “big sister” programme – for support, mentoring and school caring
  • Information evenings for Grade 4 parents – understanding study skills, technology and supporting your daughter through the Primary School years
  • Children’s Day – interactions with our Prep school baby sisters and our Selborne brothers
